I've been to the Eiffel Tower before. We went up at night, and looked down and all around at the twinkling expanse of Paris. It was like looking down at the stars. Very beautiful! The only bad thing was that we shared the elevator ride to the top with a large group of very drunk Australians. My other favorite Paris memories were the tomb of Napolean, Notre Dame Cathedral, and, of course, the Louvre. There was more to see there than I could see in a lifetime, but we did all the tourist things. That was in 1996.
